Our Ride on Cars are best suited for children aged 8 years and under. Younger toddlers (1 - 3 years) usually do very well with a parent using the remote control. Older kids (up to 8) love driving themselves. We can adjust the speed and remote settings to suit each child’s age, confidence, and ability.
No. Our cars are single seat and designed for one child at a time only.
We recommend booking at least 4 - 8 weeks in advance, especially on weekends and during school holidays. Peak periods (April-December, and long weekends) book out quickly.
Yes. We deliver, fully set up the cars, provide traffic cones/barriers (depending on package), and give a quick safety briefing. At the end of the hire, we pack everything away and take it back with us.
Standard party hires are for 2 or 3 hours (plus delivery and collection). Longer hires are available on request for community events, school or childcare events. Check our hire packages for more information
Safety is our top priority. All cars have:
A maximum speed of 8 km/h
Parental remote controls for instant override
Wireless automatic stop functions
We conduct regular maintenance and follow strict risk management procedures.
Yes. They perform best on flat, firm surfaces like concrete, grass (short and dry), or indoor flooring. Very soft sand, mud, long grass, wet grass or steep slopes are not suitable.
Your package includes everything you need, check our hire packages for all inclusions. Travel fees apply if outside our standard service area. No hidden fees or cleaning charges.
We can move the cars to a covered area (carport, garage, or undercover patio) if available. In heavy rain, we may need to reschedule. We are very flexible and will work with you. Read our hire agreement for more information.
No strict minimum, but we recommend at least 4–6 cars so multiple children can play at the same time and the fun stays high-energy. Package costs are the same for the first 7 cars you hire.
Unfortunately not, if it is safe our hire operators may allow extra time but the cars batteries are generally charged to supply the event time, not longer periods. We may also have other parts/events to attend so may not have availability to wait around.
Each council maintains its own list of activities that require approval in public parks.
In our two main service areas, Brisbane City Council and Moreton Bay City Council, no council approval is required for our Ride on Cars.
We currently operate across 11 different council areas in South East Queensland. Because rules can change and we have hundreds of weekly bookings, we are unable to check approval requirements for every individual booking.
As a precaution, we always suggest you contact your local council directly to confirm whether approval is needed for your event. We will update this information immediately if we become aware of any changes or issues with any council. Last updated: April 2026 – No issues reported across all 11 councils to date.

It depends on the venue. Many halls and indoor facilities happily allow our Ride on Cars, while others have strict policies against any ride on toys.
As these are private venues, we cannot guarantee approval. We recommend you check with the hall directly and share the following key points with them:
Maximum speed is limited to 3 km/h (walking pace)
Wheels are non-marking and designed not to damage floors
We hold $20 Million public liability insurance (certificate available on request)
Traffic cones and barriers can be provided to cordon off areas if needed
A comprehensive risk assessment can be supplied upon request
Most venues that review these details are happy to approve the hire.
For private parties, the maximum is 10 cars. For community events and larger gatherings, the maximum is 8 cars.
These limits are set by our Risk Management Procedures and Risk Assessment to ensure the highest level of safety for children.
Exceptions beyond these limits may be possible but will require a separate event-specific risk assessment, which incurs an additional fee.
No, parents do not have to control the cars, but they can if they want to.
Every car comes with a synced parental remote control, giving you full oversight and the ability to intervene instantly if needed. This is especially useful for younger children or kids who may lack confidence or ability to drive on their own.
The parental remote allows your child to enjoy the fun of “driving” while you maintain full safety control.
No. Unlike many other party hire companies, we do not charge a bond or any cleaning fees.
Our pricing is transparent, the price you see on our website for your chosen package is the total amount you will pay. There are no hidden costs. Our regular maintenance and professional cleaning program ensures all equipment is delivered in excellent condition. We trust our customers to treat the cars with care, just as you trust us to make your child’s special day amazing.
